529 applicants – from across the country participated in the written test for 68 posts of the Independent Directorate of Local Governance - organized today at the Civil Services Institute hall. The mentioned posts are grade 3, and the selected candidates will work as “Gender and Monitoring and Evaluation Specialists” in 34 provinces.
Abdul Malik Sediqi, Finance and Administrative Deputy of the Independent Directorate of Local Governance (IDLG) said that, 1600 individuals had applied for the mentioned positions and 529 of the applicants were shortlisted, where 100 of the shortlisted applicants are female.
Moreover, Allah Nawaz Safi, Executive Director of Appointment Board of the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Services Commission (IARCSC) emphasized on transparency in the recruitment process and added that, the entire process is carried out by one specific committee with zero external interference.
In addition to that, Director of the CBR Program at the Ministry of Finance – Dr. Najibullah Wardak appreciated the actions taken by the Independent Directorate of Local Governance in meeting their commitments and said that, CBR is a reforms focused program and recruitment is one of its activities. Mr. Wardak also stated that, the CBR Program recruitment allotment is 2400 posts and we are committed to bring real capacities into various administrations. He added that, 25% of the recruitment toll must be given to female.
Lastly, written test for both of the positions was performed properly and transparently – the rest of the steps will be shared with selected candidates by IDLG.
