Financial Management Unit

The Financial Management (FM) unit is tasked with the overall Financial Management related functions of the Capacity Building for Results program. The unit aims to ensure and perform effective FM arrangements within the CBR that would in turn facilitate efficient and smooth operations of the various activities of the program.

The unit is staffed with qualified and experienced financial management staff who carry out day-to-day financial management operations of the project with support from the Finance and Administration department of MoF.

The FM unit key functions include:

  • Planning and Budgeting: Budget formulation and consolidation, budget appropriation, allotments, monitoring and control
  • Funds Flow: funding mechanisms, banking arrangements, funds management
  • Payments: Disbursement Methods, payments validation, approval and processing
  • Accounting and Reporting: Accounting and Record Keeping, Reconciliation, Reporting, and Replenishment
